We were responsible for the overall creative direction, branding, and layout of Glenn Beck’s latest book, Arguing With Socialists. In addition to the book itself, we also handled the design and development of the marketing campaign and landing page.

With his trademark humor, Glenn Beck lampoons the resurgence of this bankrupt leftist philosophy with hundreds of easy-to-understand stories, facts, arguments, and graphics that expose socialism’s biggest flaws to anyone who is willing to ask the hard questions and pursue truth.


Glenn asked us to create a book that looked like a graphic novel that was a work-in-progress. Each chapter head has a polished comic strip, while the rest of the pages are chock-full of illustrations, notes, and sketches. Each page was designed to look like a concept pinned to a corkboard for Glenn’s review. Authenticity was very important to Glenn, so we photographed everything from the corkboard, to the pages, sticky notes, pins and tape. The goal was to create something that was not only fun and engaging to the reader, but also unlike anything else in the political genre of books.
