Arguing with Socialists
We were entrusted with the full creative direction, design, and branding of Arguing With Socialists, Glenn Beck’s boldest book project to date—a deeply researched, satirical takedown of modern socialist ideology. Our role extended beyond the book itself, encompassing the entire visual system, layout design, and rollout of the supporting marketing campaign.

Glenn wanted a book that looked and felt nothing like a traditional political title. Instead, he envisioned something closer to a graphic novel in progress, as if the reader had stepped into his private workspace filled with ideas, notes, and research pinned to the wall. It needed to be visually engaging, slightly chaotic, and full of personality.
Each chapter begins with a custom-illustrated comic strip to set the tone, followed by page layouts packed with sticky notes, taped-up charts, handwritten commentary, and sketch-style illustrations. Every spread was designed to feel like a rough draft for Glenn’s approval, bringing the reader into the process of dissecting and dismantling modern socialism.

To ensure it all felt real, we avoided digital shortcuts and instead photographed actual corkboard, tape, paper, push pins, and notecards. We even used Glenn’s own handwriting to heighten authenticity. This physical approach gave the book a tactile, layered quality that stands out from anything else in its genre.
