Blaze News Tonight
As Creative Director for Blaze News Tonight, I oversaw the led visual development of BlazeTV’s nightly news program, from brand identity and set design to the animated show open. The goal was to create a look that felt bold, credible, and distinctly “Blaze Media”—cutting through the noise of legacy news with sharp design and striking motion.
As Creative Director, I led the development of the show’s full brand identity, including the primary logotype, supporting typography, and color system.
I established a visual language that was clean and commanding, designed to convey authority and trust while intentionally breaking away from traditional cable news aesthetics.

Set design
Eric Hayes created the 3D visualization of the set, bringing the concept to life before physical buildout. His work played a key role in stakeholder alignment and lighting previsualization, giving producers a clear picture of how the show would look once live.
I oversaw the creative direction for the set, shaping an environment that mirrors the brand’s tone. The design emphasizes muted earth tones balanced by refined geometric forms. Natural stone textures and angular paneling provide a grounded, architectural foundation that frames the content rather than competing with it, while adding visual depth and introspection to each segment. The result is a set that feels both timeless and flexible, capable of transforming seamlessly with the story being told.
